Neon Drift Circuit
Neon Drift Circuit is pure arcade racing with no pretence of realism. You drift neon-lit tracks, chain boosts, and chase ghost times. The default tilt steering felt natural after a lap or two, but there's a full touch-button scheme for people who, like one of our editors, can't steer a phone to save their life.
This is the most battery-hungry game in our current catalogue, which is no surprise given the glowing visuals and high frame rate. On a long session the phone warmed up noticeably. There's a graphics toggle that helps a lot if you turn the bloom effects down. Loading is quick and races are short enough to squeeze between tasks.
The sense of speed is excellent and the controls are responsive, which is really all a racer needs to nail. We just recommend keeping a charger nearby if you binge it.
